The estate came into the hands of Germans, who leased the lots. After the war, it came into the possession of the government, which then allowed leaseholders to buy lots. &#8216;The Hester,&#8217; as the lot was called at the time was demarcated with stakes after which it was called &#8216;Hesterkamp.&#8217; A clerical error in the registers caused it to become &#8220;Helfterkamp,&#8221; even though it is questionable whether it was really a clerical error: &#8220;hester&#8221; also means something like a pig caught between sow and adult. In 2012, Bart and Kirsten became the proud owners of De Helfterkamp. They made history with a whole new adventure: their move from the south to Vaassen, Gelderland to continue their family and
